We were merrily driving down the interstate, when all of a sudden, what to my wondering eyes should appear! But a sign from Beaver touting their #1 water in the United States!!!
Shut up!
Stop the car!!
I have to taste this water!!!!
We made a quick exit!
Pulled into a gas station.
Ran in and looked around.
Hmm.
All we found were these:
What?
No Beaver water???
We left and I was determined
to find some the next time
we passed through.
And this time...
I had an evil little plan!
This evil little plot included
a trip to Tar-jay to purchase
an incognito {yet very cute and stylish!}
{They look like they could be cute
diaper bags, you know?}
Said plot also included
water bottles and
a nifty water dispenser
{to go inside the cooler!}.
{to go inside the cooler!}.
So we drive back into Beaver on the return trip.
We decide we are going to go to the
cheese factory {that we also saw a sign for},
because hello, cheese???
YUM!!!
We stock up on cheeses.
Chat up the cute cashiers
~ they were seriously so nice!
And get our water.
From the tap.
Oh yes!
I got a cooler full of water!!!!
And as if that wasn't enough!
We hit the drive through for lunch
and order ice cold waters
with our meals!!!
We chanted as we drove out of sight...
Bea~ver Wa~ter!
Bea~ver Wa~ter!
Bea~ver Wa~ter!
~dreamy sigh~
It was a great day!!!
And now, I can relax at home
and savor the tastiest water in America!
MMm, I want some Cache valley cheese :)
ReplyDeleteI have two weeks this summer (one week at Girls Camp, and 1 week at Youth conference!) I seriously don't know how to manage a blog and business without internet! I'm nervous!
I need some tasty tap water too! I'm tired of the same old water. Award winning water sounds amazing!
ReplyDeleteLol Amy! My guess is you will be pretty busy with camp and youth conference so maybe it won't be so bad? Here's to hoping anyway! :D
ReplyDeleteIs Beaver the Evian of your region? I confess I've never heard of it! I'm a tap water girl, though, and only venture to chi-chi water when road-tripping. My favorites are Smart Water and Volvic.
ReplyDeleteThe Evian of my region? LOL! Well, it's not quite as chic as France, but the taste was pretty amazing actually! The gals at the cheese factory told me they do actually bottle and sell the water, but it is sold so that others can put their own labels on it, so...who knows, maybe you have tasted it? I'm thinking I should make up my own brand and sell it! LOL! :D
ReplyDeleteI would have loved to try that water! Glad you found it.
ReplyDeleteAnd also that you are feeling better!
Jeanine
...great, now I'm hungry (cheese!) and thirsty. And yes, you should totally sell your own brand!
ReplyDeleteBeaver is where we stopped off I-15 and dug up us some awesome firecracker penestemon. It is in bloom. You need to come and see it. The hummingbirds LOVE it!
