Oscar Night Fashions

Oscar night is always fun to watch celebrity fashions.  I always dream up a dress or two of what I would wear on the red carpet.  I love designing evening wear in my head!  This year I wondered if I were a classic movie star, who would I be?

Well, Kay of Movie Star Makeover, has a fun little quiz you can take to see which classic movie stars you are most like.  I turned out to be the Lively Girl Next Door and happily join the ranks of Debbie Reynolds, Jane Powell, Ginger Rogers, Doris Day and Betty Grable.

    Ooh, I just "liked" your Polyvore, at Polyvore, without realizing it was yours. How fun, can't wait to take the quiz and see who I would be.

    I think if I were going to choose a red-carpet outfit, it would be while living in the Land of Make Believe, so I would have the killer body I've always wanted. And I would choose the dress I picked out for Viola Davis (tomorrow's post).

      I took it and came out "naturally charming," like Ingrid Bergman. This fits, because I do think I am a natural, in terms of style, but when I read the other personality descriptions, what seemed to fit best was "smartly tailored." I have the gumption of those women, but not their style of dress. I might take it again & change the answers I was unsure of to see what happens.

      Took it again, changed the ones I had been deliberating about to the "other" choice I had been considering and came out "smartly tailored." So I must have qualities of both and should probably consider both style types for inspiration.

      You're funny! I think I would like to live in your Land of Make Believe so I can have a killer body too! Lol!

      I bet you do have qualities of both and could probably take style inspirations from both sets to incorporate into your individual style! That would be fun!

      I wonder if my results would change if I took the test again too...hmmm...maybe I will?
