Getting Enough Water

We all know it's important to get our daily water intake but for a lot of people it's hard to remember to get it in. For me, I try to make it as pleasurable as possible.  

I always start the day out first thing with a glass of mineral water {sole, or a San Pellegrino left open over night so that it is "still" rather than "bubbly"}, or a nice glass of warm water with a squirt of fresh lemon juice.  In a lovely goblet.  {You can purchase basic ones real inexpensively at places like Walmart or Target by the way!}  Mmm!  Then I take the rest of the day to drink down a pitcher of lovely spa-like water, because really darlings, it makes it so much more pleasurable!


Sometimes I float cucumbers.



Sometimes I float oranges . . .
or tangerines . . .
or lemons . . .
or limes . . .


At Christmastime, I floated cranberries and limes, 
if you remember.


I have even been known to float apple slices.  Really, I just float whatever I have on hand.  It always makes it more special and delicious!  And dare I say, more fun to drink!

It really is lovely ~ you should try it and see if you get more water this way!

  1. Beautiful post; I love the cranberries for winter water. When I was in Hawaii last month there was water with pineapple and oranges - delicious!
