. . . health.
And I think I did a pretty good job of accomplishing most of my goals. They now feel firmly like a part of my life that I can continue with. So it's time to move on to the new year. If I had one word to sum up this years goals it would be...
~ Peace ~
You know, let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me....all that...
...and more!
Inner peace.
Less stress.
Learning to let go of what's not important.
Learning to let go of past wrongs and hurts.
Becoming a kinder, more gentler mom and wife.
Learning to be at peace with the world.
I know goals are supposed to have specific and measurable aspects, but really by choosing one word to guide all my decisions this year seems like the best way to attain the peace I want. Of course there are some specific goals I can attach to this, like...read my scriptures daily, learn to clear my mind during mediation and prayer, learn relaxation techniques I can employ for various different situations etc. But mostly I can measure each decision I make throughout my life as to whether or not it will contribute to or detract from the overall sense of peace I want to attain. The word "peace" embodies the "spirit" of what I want to achieve in the coming year.
I like this. Great goal.
